Encaustic Painting Methods with Kathlene Allie
From the instant results of a one-of-a-kind monoprint made from a metal plate to fully developed paintings from wax fixed with heat, students explored the beauty, textures and layers that are unique to encaustic painting method. No prior experience with monotypes or encaustic was required. This workshop was also an excellent introduction to the use of encaustic painting, collage, and mixed media.
