Kachina Spirit: The Sybil Tillman Collection
An authority on the spirit dolls of the Hopi and an expert on contemporary American Art, Tillman began collecting Kachinas at the same time she started collecting Charles Blaylock’s paintings with Kachinas as focal point. Tillman’s contemporary and historic dolls—the oldest are carved from single pieces of cottonwood root—will be shown with Blaylock’s “super-realistic” paintings.

Group tours are available by appointment, with a two-week advance notice preferred.
