Education
"Spiva
provides a broad spectrum of creative, educational
art programs for the four-state community and encourages
all age groups to explore, enjoy and participate in
the arts".
Spiva’s
educational programs take place in our galleries,
in the classrooms and sometimes
in the streets! For children and adults. Contact the

Educational
and Youth Programs
Education is a major component of our mission statement
at Spiva. Our children's program presents opportunities
for creative experience for youth of all ages. Young Artists
Studio:
Our core program for children grades K through 9 explores
the methods and techniques used by the artists who are exhibiting
in our main gallery. Programs For Teens: teens work with
a professional artist to develop art for the community.
Learning the design process in five week programs, participants
analyze, design, and implement a project. Past projects
include a mural on a local bridge and a graphic design project
for the Northpark Mall's twenty-fifth anniversary. We work
tirelessly in building new and exciting summer and after
school programs for our community kids.
