Craig Calnan: Drawing on Experience
The complex, rhythmic structures of Calnan’s small scale compositions lead viewers past surface into stories based in art history, science fiction, or even fantasy. The longtime illustrator and freelance graphic artist with a BA and MA in printmaking returned to school to receive an MFA from Kansas State University in 2002.
